COMMISSIONS

I offer a free consultation for commissioned art or illustrations.

However, I only accept commissions that suit my style and interpretation — as I’m sure you will understand.

If I find the subject matter fits in with my genre upon consultation, and both artist and client are happy, the following procedure will take place:

A deposit of 50% is required (credit card via PayPal/EFT) to begin the artwork
The artwork will be created and a digital photograph will be e-mailed to you for your approval
Any adjustments that you require will be made
Upon approval – the balance of the artwork’s price will need to be paid and the artwork(s) will then be couriered to you
You will receive a tracking number for the package

Hi Cherie, so nice to see that triptych again… it was commissioned for “us” and I lost it to my “previous life”…so sad, but I still got your one poppy. Lovely as always. I just joined and am looking through your site..your artwork is amazing..I love art..
I ddin’t know this was so “god: based..but that is ok..I am a humanisht..I do not believe in religion.
I think it causes more problems than it helps but that is me and we are entitled to our own belif system. You have many topics here to explore and I can’t wait..
Thank you for your site..it looks wonderful. I am jsure I will enjoy many many articles and artwork

I’m with you on religion — I don’t subscribe to any myself. When I talk about ‘God’, I’m definitely not referring to an old man on a cloud 😉 My view is that ‘God’ is more of a creative energetic force (you know, kind of like in ‘Star Wars’ for want of a better analogy).

Hi cherie. Great to gwt to knw bout you. You are a dear person with a very great number of meaningfull thoughts. Thank you for sharingthem. I have just been through a harrowing encounter when my husband was murdered in front of me and my four year old. We are still trying to come to grips withit. Thank you fo the comfort. I feel a bit like a old pizza this morning. Couldnt sleep. But its true. You neeed to embrace the past to explore hthe future. You cant say the past never happend. …….

You are so right, you do need to embrace the past — the best thing I have found when I am feeling low about all the people in my life that have passed on, is to keep the good memories alive. We are so hot-wired to think of the manner in which they died, which is truly not an emobidment of their life. It is obviously important to mourn but it is essential to remember all the good moments…and that our loved ones never truly leave us, I believe they are by our side as soon as we think of them. Take care and all my love. xxx
